Dansfilm Pina krijgt bijzondere aandacht in Den Haag
Met een live stukje dans getiteld ‘ASKA!’ verrast de bioscoop Pathé Buitenhof haar bezoekers en brengt zij de dansfilm ‘Pina’ op een originele manier onder de aandacht.
ASKA! is gemaakt uit liefde voor dans door Mirella Simoncini in opdracht van Pathé Buitenhof, met als grote inspiratie Pina Bausch.
De dansfilm ‘Pina’ van Wim Wenders is een sensuele en visueel adembenemende reis in 3D over de aangrijpende en unieke danskunst van de grote Duitse choreografe en danseres Pina Bausch, die overleed in de zomer van 2009.

Frida Kahlo Project
As part of her Art Movie 'Shit Happens' about Frida Kahlo, the Spanish painter and sculptor Lita Cabellut asked Mirella Simoncini to visualize the story behind two of her Frida Kahlo Paintings in Dance. The movie was presented at the Opera Gallery in London.
