Non-commercial project suitable for dancers graduated from a professional dance institution. The project is especially scheduled at the beginning of the season aiming to provide inspiration, pleasure and experience for young dancers. The project will be finished just about when most companies are scheduling auditions for the next season.
Dancers attending Inspiration Project receive a scholarship for the Mabel Alter Balletschool worth 300 euro and a grant for Summerschool Den Haag.

The project includes new contemporary work, ballet, pointe technique, classical repertoire and personal coaching at The Mabel Alter Balletschool. All dancers will be part of a new creation by the guest choreographer connected to a company such as Scapino Ballet with Keith-Derrick Randolph for Inspiration Project II, Nederlands Dans Theater with Maurice Causey for Inspiration Project III and Milena Sidorova, dancer with the Dutch National Ballet for Inspiration Project IV.

The duration is two months September and October. Rehearsal 2 or 3 times a week, the number of balletclasses is optional.
Audition is by invitation only and will be announced.
Het Inspiratie Project geeft jonge afgestudeerde dansers de mogelijkheid bekende klassieke variaties te dansen en samen te werken met een hedendaagse choreograaf aan nieuw repertoire.
Er zijn versies geproduceerd i.s.m. Keith-Derrick Randolph (Scapino Ballet), Maurice Causey (NDT/ Forsythe) en Milena Sidorova (Het Nationale Ballet).

The Mabel Alter Balletschool has the possibility to make short dance productions. A short Dance production that has been commissioned includes payment and travel expenses for professional dancers. Auditions are by invitation.

Productions have been commissioned by:
> The Valerius Orchestra: live music performances.
> Ministry of General Affairs: anniversary performance for the Dutch Queen Beatrix.
> The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs: presenting the 2010 Human Rights Defenders Tulip Award.
> The Spanish painter and sculptor Lita Cabellut: creating a short choreography for an art movie about Frida Kahlo, to be presented in London.
> Pathé Cinemas Buitenhof Den Haag: Live trailer for Pina 3D, the Pina Bausch Movie 2011

Kleine producties werden gemaakt in opdracht van:
Het Ministerie van Algemene Zaken, Het Valerius Studenten Orkest, Het Ministerie van Buitenlandse zaken, Lita Cabellut en Pathé Cinemas.
Alleen wanneer een productie in opdracht wordt gemaakt komen Professionele dansers in aanmerking voor reiskosten en een vergoeding .

The Tulip was awarded by the Dutch Government to Bertha Oliva de Nativi, she received the award in recognition of her fight for the rights of relatives of those who disappeared in Honduras.

Student by Invitation is a friendly encouraging-action, aiming to motivate and support young professional students and dancers.
As a student by invitation they receive a scholarship for Balletschool Mabel Alter or for Summerschool Den Haag.
The programme offers a limited number of scholarships, the procedure is in general through an audition.
Als Student by Invitation ontvangen dansers c.q. studenten een bescheiden beurs
waarmee ze kunnen trainen bij Balletschool Mabel Alter of Summerschool Den Haag.
Het programma biedt een beperkt aantal beursen. Toekennen gebeurd via een auditie
oproep.

Surprise Scholarschip
Sometimes the school might offer a 'Surprise' Scholarship available to young (Pre)Professionals.
Students for a Surprise Scholarschip are typically selected when attending one of the balletclasses at Balletschool Mabel Alter
or during Sundayclass and sometimes by recommendation.

Financial need is not a factor in determining the recipients of these awards.
All scholarships are based on the student's performance and potential. Scholarships are awarded for limited periods of time,
there is no cash payment.
Een 'Surprise Scholarship' wordt af en toe door de school aangeboden aan
(aankomende)Professionals. Kenmerkend aan deze beurs is dat studenten als
verrassing geselecteerd kunnen worden wanneer zij naar Sundayclass komen of
naar een andere les bij Balletschool Mabel Alter en in een enkel geval gebeurd dit
via een aanbeveling.

Het toekennen van een beurs gebeurd nooit op basis van financiële behoefte.
Er wordt gekeken naar talent, doorzettingsvermogen en liefde voor dans.
